Community Foundation Near Campaign Goal

As part of its relocation in July, the Community Foundation launched a combined capital campaign with a goal of reaching $600,000 to cover items such as landscaping, parking lot improvements, and additional overhead expenses.

• To date, over $350,419 has been paid or pledged
• A recent pledge from the Dekko Foundation will pay off the last $100,000
• The Foundation still needs to raise $149,581 to reach that goal

The campaign will allow the Foundation to make improvements to the building and enhance its operating endowment so that it can keep pace with additional overhead costs.

Independent Audit "Presents Fairly"

The Foundation's June 30, 2008 annual examination by the independent audit firm of Baden, Gage, & Schroeder has been recieved. The financial statements " present fairly in all material aspects" and are in compliance with "auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America."
